With the help of the Friends of Kensington Gardens, Rotarians from Lowestoft East Point Rotary Club planted 4000 purple crocus corms near to the bowling green in Kensington Gardens. Why purple? The purple crocus is a symbol of Rotary’s worldwide campaign to eradicate polio, with its colour representing the dye used to mark the finger of a child who has been immunised.
