Presentation to Sandra Chapman Centre, James Paget University Hospital
President Martin Lott, from the Rotary Club of Lowestoft East Point, today handed over a cheque for £5000 to Senior Sister Liz Alyward at the Sandra Chapman Centre, James Paget University Hospital.
A sum of approximately £2500 was raised at the Club’s very successful race night in April and matched £ for £ from Club funds.
Liz and her team are going to use the donation to purchase 2 slim line treatment chairs for the Sandra Chapman Centre.
Around fifty to sixty patients attend the Centre each day for chemotherapy and blood transfusions.
