Rotary Kids Out Day
The Lowestoft East Point Rotary Club recently spent a few days in the North West of England enjoying the sights and sounds of Liverpool and Chester.
In addition to the usual touristy things we were very grateful to be hosted for lunch by the Liverpool West Derby Rotary Club. Members were fortunate to hear Stephen Yip MBE talking about the work that his charity KIND has been doing since 1975 to help disadvantaged people across Liverpool and the Greater Merseyside area.
East Point were pleased to make a contribution towards this year’s 6-week Summer Out of School and Residential Programme.
Pictured are President Ian Davies with Stephen Yip along with some photos from the trip.
Thanks to Lee Pullum for organising, our driver,Marcus, from Felixstowe Travel and Just for Groups. A great time had by all.
