Lowestoft East Point Rotary we’re very pleased to be able to support The Hygiene Bank Waveney with a donation of £1000 recently. Local Project Co-ordination,Sue Albone, confessed to being “almost speechless” when accepting the cheque on behalf of the Charity.
The funds will be used to purchase personal hygiene and household cleaning products to supplement donations from the public and will be distributed in association with the Lowestoft Foodbank.
The latest report of the The Hygiene Bank in May this year revealed that 4.2 million adults in the UK are unable to afford basic hygiene essentials. Pictured are Sue Albone and Andrew Deal from East Point.
